This poem I should have published way earlier, because it’s closer to 11 years now.
A house, a garden, three cats, a place to be.
To be together, as one great family.
It started right now, ten years ago.
Right from the start I wanted you so.
We chatted, we emailed and then came that song.
We emailed, we chatted all weekend long.
Right after one year, yes that’s when we met,
we wanted all this what we have, just then not yet.
Now it’s been almost five years, your first steps on Dutch ground,
the land of the tulips,
have I showed you around?
To say goodbye to your roots and spend life here with me.
You took me my coffee and fed me with tea.
Yes, we stepped on one road and made it our way
and for that I’m grateful each day.

Ha, een echte romanTinus!
Mooi 🙂
