As we visited some of our English friends today to pick up some babytoys that their kids had outgrown, we explained to them that the reason why we where so neatly dressed was because we went to church earlier. Their eldest (Chloé, 7 yo) then asked:
“Mommy, what is a ‘church’?” (they’re atheïsts)
Whereon she replied:
“That’s where the dead people live, darling.”
